firs challengers ben nevis charity climb

The Firs Challengers were back doing what they do best, RAISING MONEY FOR CHARITY!

Raising money for charity Mike Williams, licensee of the Firs, Wolverhampton, along with 23 of his customers, 1 regional manager and 5 area managers made an ascent on Ben Nevis on 5th June 2007.

Their target was to raise £10,000 for the bowel cancer unit at New Cross Hospital and Compton Hospice.

It looks promising they will, as usual, exceed that target!

Mike would like to thank all those who sponsored the team, with special thanks to Roger Thompson who is recovering from bowel cancer.

The Firs & Firs Challengers raised over £35,000 for Compton Hospice, much of this coming from the Sahara Trek last November. Be sure to read about this on our charity pages.
