Michael
Williams
A licensee with Banks’s for the 13 years he has been based
at the Firs, Wolverhampton for the last 6 of those. During this
time at the Firs he has combined forces with his loyal customers
and raised in excess of £92,000 for local charities.
His reason for taking on the challenge is in memory of his mother,
father and best friends Mac and Peter who all died of cancer.

|
Chris
Turner
This self employed tradesman from Wolverhampton has spent much
of the last 6 years involved in raising monies for charity through
the Firs. His reason for taking on this challenge is personal,
and as the instigator of this challenge he determined to bring
home the goods and ensure their target is reached. |
|
John
Jenkins
This Managing Director of a Wolverhampton business has always
been open to any challenge. Never afraid to take anything on
he has proved this throughout his life. Taking on skiing and
flying to name a few hobbies, he will not accept second place.
The captain of Firs Bar Team for the last 6 years in the Bridgnorth
Raft Regatta he is no stranger to raising monies for charity. |
|
Mohan
Susch (aka Mo)
A local property developer and businessman in Wolverhampton.
With two snooker clubs and a motor spares shop to run he still
finds the time to support local charities. A long time friend
of Mike Williams they have joined forces many times over the
last 15 years to help local charities.
His reason for the challenge, very similar to Sir Edmund Hilary,
it’s there so it’s got to be done. |
|
Balwinder
Bahia (aka Binda)
A local business man and owner of Castlecroft News, in Wolverhampton.
As a regular supporter of the Firs Charities he has taken part
in many of the fund raising events with the help of his sons
Minty and Stin.
His reason for taking part is the simple fact he believes in
the charity and supports people less fortunate than himself. |
|
Dave
Eddy
A self employed fencer from Wednesfield and regular supporter
of Firs Charities. Having taken on most challenges in his life
it was time for the ultimate challenge. As veteran of the Bridgnorth
Raft Regatta and other
charity events he is no newcomer to raising monies for charities
and was overjoyed to become one of the Firs Challenegers. |
